Jodi Larsen recently joined the National Park Police after a year marked by the loss of her mother and her decision to leave the Military Police after serving her final tour of duty. She unexpectedly teams up with a dog named Blue as her new partner. Together, they tackle their first case, investigating the disappearance of a boy who went missing while camping with his family. As night falls, a race against time begins.

Bill, Jodi's father, is deliberately run off the road and severely injured. Jodi and her team quickly uncover that the incident was no accident but a targeted attack resulting from an old cold case of his. Determined to solve the case once and for all, Jodi takes it upon herself to bring closure, all while her father fights for his life in the hospital.
