To mark 200 years of British train travel in 2025, this series uses cutting-edge drones to showcase the most iconic steam train journeys in Britain, from above.In Scotland, the Jacobite Steam Train, better known as the Hogwarts Express, travels across the Scottish Highlands, unlocking the fascinating history of the Jacobite Rebellion. In Wales, the Mountain Spirit traverses glorious coastlines and ancient oak woodlands on the Ffestiniog Railway, through the mountainous Snowdonia National Park. And in England, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway travels from Whitby to Pickering, transporting us back in time to the golden age of steam train travel, and the West Somerset Railway scales rolling hills, to tell the story if its great engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.In this spectacular series, immerse yourself in the romance, history and thrill of train travel.
