Dinosaur Britain explores the amazing story of how dinosaurs one roamed Great Britain. The show will reveal how these creatures hunted, what they ate and how they died from the evidence revealed in their bones. Presenter Ellie Harrison and palaeontologists Dean Lomax attempt to bring dinosaurs back to life in Britain.

In the first episode of the series, viewers are able to discover how dinosaurs were first identified as an entirely new species in Britain. The discovery came from a piece of jaw bone revealed to be the 'British raptor', a dinosaur the size of a turkey. The episode will discover how a completely new species, unqiue to Britain, was uncovered on Charmouth beach by an amateur fossil hunter.

In the second episode, Ellie Harrison and Dean Lomax are exploring a massive bone from the biggest animal to have walked the plant. These dinosaurs had long tails and long necks, these creatures are said to have roamed the whole of Britain. Elsewhere Dean discovers not all of Britain's dinosaurs were enormous beast like these - some of the world's smallest lived here too.
