In the premiere, "Pilot," Savannah ("Savi") is a successful career woman working toward the next phase in her life -- both professionally and personally -- bucking for partner at the law firm where she works while also trying to start a family with her husband, Harry. But when their fertility issues begin to take center stage, Savi finds herself attracted to her flirtatious colleague, Dominic. Savi's free-spirited and capricious baby sister, Josslyn, couldn't be more different, living single, serial dating and partying. A real estate agent, Josslyn has no interest in a committed, long-term relationship.

While Karen counsels Savi to hold a beat before confessing to husband Harry about her night with Dominic, Savi gets an entirely different reaction from April. Meanwhile, April investigates a woman's shocking claims that her late husband, Paul, had another life; Joss finds a friend in new client Alex, and Karen warily agrees to meet with Sam Grey.

Tensions escalate at work between Savi and Dom; Joss's new boss, Olivier -- very French and very unimpressed with her -- gives her an impossible assignment; and Karen continues to be drawn into the dysfunctional Grey family orbit.

Savi finds out she's pregnant and knows there's a good chance the baby is indeed Harry's and not a result of the one-time affair she had with Dom. Joss finds herself befriending her gay real estate client, Alex, who has a controlling significant other. April is pressured by the woman who claims she had a child by April's dead husband. Also, despite Savi's advice to the contrary, Karen continues to find herself drawn to the company of Sam Grey, the college-aged son of her dead lover.

Savi is anxious to find out her paternity test results, while trying to hide her pregnancy from Harry. Meanwhile the friendship between Joss and her gay client, Alex, takes an interesting turn when Alex breaks up with her girlfriend; April and Richard are brought closer together when their 10-year-old daughters don't show up for school; and after Karen receives a visit from a private investigator seeking answers surrounding her lover's death, she meets with his widow, Elizabeth Grey.

Savi desperately tries to make things right with Harry, but he continues to avoid her and discussion of their future; Karen is frightened when, on the heels of the insurance investigation, someone breaks into her office and may have accessed her patient files; April and Richard's romance heats up; and Olivier continues to make Joss's life miserable at the office.

Joss, terribly hurt that Savi hid her pregnancy and her illicit affair from her, moves in with April; Harry and Dominic angrily face off at a social event; Karen meets up again with Detective Newsome, but this time it's personal; and April struggles to put memories of her dead husband behind her so she can move on with a relationship with Richard.

Savi wants to fight for her relationship with Harry, even if the baby is Dom's; April is still reeling from the revelation that her supposedly dead husband, Paul, is actually alive; Karen is surprised when Sam hires her business partner as his therapist and seeks out his mother, Elizabeth, to express her concern; and after an uncomfortable run-in with Alex's ex, Joss wants to redefine her relationship with Alex.

When Savi and Joss's free-spirited, open-minded and often absent mother, Janet, comes for an unexpected visit, she brings big news but also stirs up some long-simmering family tensions. Now that Karen realizes that Elizabeth Grey knew all along about her affair with Tom, she wonders if Elizabeth might have actually killed Tom because of her; and April questions whether she should tell her daughter she's dating Richard, although she has yet to tell Richard about the return of her supposedly-dead husband.

As single mom-to-be Savi begins to grasp that Harry may never be coming back, Dom offers her a shoulder to lean on. April is furious when Paul shows up at Lucy's school and shares her frustration with Richard, who decides to take matters into his own hands. Karen and Sam reconnect after she realizes Savi won't give her information about Elizabeth's lawsuit against her; and at work Joss tries to win over Olivier by helping him impress new real estate clients.

Karen begins her deposition into her possible role in the death and cover-up of her lover, Thomas Grey, where his son, Sam, has promised to be her alibi. Dominic surprises Karen when he brings in private detective Anthony Newsome to testify. After Joss tells Harry that Savi has yet to open up her paternity results, he decides to go to the clinic to find out for himself. And April and Richard who have broken up, remember they made an amusement park date with their kids they have to keep. Meanwhile, Joss's feelings for Olivier are stirred up when Alex asks her if she misses sleeping with a man..

The judge delivers a shocking ruling in Grey Vs Kim. While the case is closed, there is even more trouble on the horizon for Karen; Paul helps a frantic April search for Lucy after the school reports that she's gone missing; Joss tries to salvage her relationship with Alex after she learns Joss slept with Olivier ; and Savi is receptive to Dom's advances, and accepts the fact that Harry is no longer part of her life... until she learns some disturbing news about the state of Harry's restaurant.

Eight months later, Savi, having cheated death, makes the most of her second chance. Karen struggles to rebound from loss, both personal and professional. April's life gets interesting when old friend, Mickey, returns and pushes her to make some changes and Joss tries her hand at a new job, party planner to wealthy Angelenos.

April throws caution to the wind and begins a blissful affair with handsome artist Daniel Zamora. Meanwhile, Joss and Harry seem to clash over everything when they're hired to throw a lavish party for a wealthy housewife. Savi returns to the firm and bristles at sharing an office with stunning new attorney Antonia Ruiz, who appears to have no sense of personal boundaries. Karen faces some ghosts from her past when she's called upon to testify at Elizabeth Grey's parole hearing.

Joss is caught in the middle as mediator when Savi and Harry - still not talking to each other -- clash over selling their home. Back at the office, Toni continues to be a thorn in Savi's side. When April learns she has to throw a lavish party for the parents at Lucy's expensive new private school, it's Mickey to the rescue with a bash that no one will soon forget.

Savi finds a surprising connection with a man other than Dom. After a series of dating disasters, Karen hits rock bottom emotionally. April introduces Daniel to the gang. Joss shells out big bucks so she and Harry can attend a pricey charity event to drum up business, but ends up attracting something else instead, the attentions of a handsome plastic surgeon.

Savi's sister and friends are concerned when her secret camaraderie with Zack reveals a devil-may-care side. Karen tries to heed April's advice that her harmless addiction could turn dangerous. Scott makes his move with Joss, and then shares a surprising fantasy with her. A blissfully-in-love April gets some disconcerting news about Daniel. Meanwhile, Dom grapples with repercussions in the office after he and Savi come out about their relationship.

Karen's secret life gets the best of her when she meets a guy she likes. Joss gets shocking news from Harry that could impact both of their lives. With Daniel out of town, April has her reasons to decline a dinner invitation with the wealthy parents of her daughter's best friend. Before Savi and Harry sign their divorce papers, she has an epiphany that challenges her future with Dom.

April braces herself for Daniel's response when she finally confronts him to come clean. Joss finds that Scott's work as a plastic surgeon is testing the trust in their relationship. April, in the middle of helping the FBI pinpoint Paul's location, tries to keep her daughter Lucy from finding out what's really going on between her and Daniel. Calista finds herself getting pulled back in by Luca, but just as she lets her guard down it's clear that Luca has ulterior motives.

Scott asks Joss to return his ring to him, and she discovers that he's engaged again. Meanwhile, April's excited that Blair's accepted a date with her; Karen faces the consequences of her encounter with Vivian and Alec; and Calista meets the other gals.

Karen's relationship begins to fall apart when Vivian discovers she slept with Alec and they both lied about it. Meanwhile, April's connection with Blair deepens, but Lucy begins to see a very strict side of him. After a series of blows to his self-esteem, Marc battles his demons, and Calista throws Joss under the bus with the police, causing her to become the prime suspect.

Feeling under the weather, Karen heads to the doctor and is stunned when she gets the results. April and Blair move their relationship forward, even though Lucy admits that she's not fond of him. Marc continues to struggle with his old demons, but Harry is there to help him get back on track. Joss scrambles for evidence against Calista and when Calista twists the story to her benefit, the future looks very grim for Joss.

Karen makes a life-changing decision. Joss considers what her life could have been if she'd chosen Scott instead of Harry. Upset that he can't visit Joss in jail, Harry focuses his energy into helping his agent Ari instead. April sleeps with Daniel while Blair is out of town, and Daniel has a mysterious tape that might help Joss.

April's guilt about Daniel leads to trouble in her relationship with Blair which ultimately brings her closer to Lucy. Karen tells Alec and Vivian about the baby and despite Alec's initial shock there seems to be some hope that they can form a modern kind of family, until Vivian staggers Karen with the news of her own. Daniel's mysterious tape turns out to be surveillance from the neighbor's camera which proves to complicate matters for Calista. Just when things are looking up for Joss, she's stunned to learn that the cops think she and Calista conspired to kill Luca together.

Despondent over her situation, Joss struggles with whether she should take a plea deal and what that would mean for a future with Harry. Karen agrees to help Vivian keep her secret from Alec so that he can accept a very important award. April and Marc are blind-sided by a surprise visit from Marc's sister Miranda. After being shut out by Joss in prison, Calista sees the pain she's causing her and makes her next move.

Just as Joss gets her freedom, Harry is presented with an exciting new job opportunity that will impact a future with her. As soon as Scotty leaves Los Angeles, Marc disappears, causing April to finally realize her true feelings. Vivian's illness takes a turn for the worse, leaving Karen adrift and unsure of the future. Joss receives a confusing gift from Calista but when she denies sending it, Joss is sent down the rabbit hole to find out if the real killer might be on the loose.

It's a year from the night Joss encountered a dangerous Wilson and has to relive the painful memory while testifying in court in his murder trial. Despite moving in together, Marc hasn't found a steady job, and April worries Lucy is growing up too fast. Karen is adjusting to motherhood while her attractive male nanny (guest star Jerry O'Connell) makes a seemingly unwarranted advance. Meanwhile, Harry and Joss take the next step in their relationship, but trouble may be ahead as Joss isn't quite healed from her past

Harry's sister arrives for a visit and reveals that all is not well between her and her fiancé. Meanwhile, Joss has trouble celebrating her own engagement; April learns about a painting fellowship; Marc joins a band; and Karen bonds with her male nanny.

Kate soon realizes dating in Los Angeles is a little harder than she expected. Harry has an exciting new job venture while April finally realizes what her passion is with a little help from Marc. The boundaries between Karen and her many, Robert, become complicated. Meanwhile, Joss is still trying to figure out how to deal with the aftermath of the past year.

Karen realizes she's very happy to be back working with her clients again, despite putting her love life on hold. April's new client gets a little too close for comfort, while someone from Marc's past becomes very present. Kate struggles after learning her ex-fiancé is dating someone else, while Joss plays dirty to get a new client.

Karen pitches new book proposals to her agent, Barbara, but she's not impressed with any of them. After an interview with a shock jock host goes awry, Karen decides to stand up for herself, leading to potential consequences. April quits her job after Michael kisses her, but she tells Marc she was fired instead. Later, April discovers the truth about Michael. Joss and Harry have a rocky time trying to balance their new working relationship with Joss, as Harry's publicist and Joss continue to struggle with her PTSD from last year.

Alec visits unexpectedly and disrupts Karen's life with his news. Meanwhile, April and Marc clash on a parenting issue; Kate learns that her new beau has a connection to Joss and Harry; and Harry's business partner invites him and Joss to Las Vegas.

Alec threatens for full custody of Vivian, sending Karen into a panic. April and Marc find a condom in Lucy's jacket, forcing April to give "the talk." Kate doesn't tell Joss and Harry about her new boyfriend, as it could have serious recuperations. Joss' actions put Jonathan's nephew in the hospital and later causes tension in her and Harry's relationship.

April's mom arrives for an overnight stay, but she extends her visit due to health issues. Meanwhile, despite her misgivings, Karen makes an effort to bond with her new nanny; Harry deals with his sudden fame; and Joss learns that Kate is dating Scott.

April's mom causes trouble in April and Marc's relationship. Meanwhile, Karen meets a new guy after Lydia secretly sets up an online dating profile for her; Kate makes a change in her living arrangements; and Joss takes pills to cope with her anxiety.

Marc focuses on his music and bonds with Sofia. Meanwhile, Lydia tries to ruin Karen's new romance; April makes a decision after observing her mother's display of intolerance; and Joss deals with the death of a friend from her impact class.

Despite April trying to win Marc back, he ends things between them for good, but there may be a surprise in store for them. Karen is furious when she finally discovers that Lydia was posing as her online and ends up firing her. Harry juggles two potential business opportunities, but it ends up backfiring. Meanwhile, Joss, along with her impact class friends, goes to find the man who killed their friend and teach him a lesson. After so much fighting, Joss finally tells Harry the truth about a past incident.
