The battle for the title of Europe's Strongest Man includes all of the major power-brokers of strongman including reigning champ Hafthor Bjornsson, and it is going to take a lot to wrestle the crown off the two-time winner.

This year's World's Strongest Man Finals come from the Chobe National Park in Botswana. This opening heat sees Brits Mark Felix and Luke Stoltman among the challengers for the two spots available for The Grand Final.

The mighty Eddie Hall takes on five other athletes for the two available spots for The Grand Final. Known as The Beast, he will have to overcome a qualifying field including Polish star Grzegorz Szymanski, America's Nick Best and Jon Lane, and Norway's Jon Olav Granli.

Contenders vying for one of two places available in the Final include Hafthor Bjornsson, and Brit Terry Hollands who presented Channel 5's coverage in 2015.

Brit Laurence Shahlaei is among the contenders after reversing his decision to call time on his career when another injury seemed to have got the better of him. He and his fellow contenders are looking to grab one of two places available in the Final.

Annual competition of strength athletics. The action takes place in Botswana, and there are just two places left to be filled in the Grand Final. Reigning champion, three-times winner Brian Shaw, is up against Johan Els and Gerhard Van Staden from South Africa, Australian Eben Le Roux and hotly tipped newcomer 23-year-old Mateusz Kieliszkowski from Poland. There are six events - the Loading Race, 18-tonnes Truck Pull, Keg Toss, 363kg Deadlift for reps, Viking Press and the Atlas Stones.

The first of five heats features defending champion Brian Shaw among as one of the athletes looking to secure one of two places available in the Grand Final.

Heat Two includes a man who has been on the podium five times, yet remains uncrowned. Hailing from the nation that has won 8 of the previous 39 World's Strongest Man titles, Iceland's Hafthor Julius Bjornsson has the weight of history and expectation on his shoulders.

Heat Three features an epic field of athletes who will take on six herculean tasks including a 15 tonne Bus Pull, a 350kg Deadlift, and a 200kg Elephant Carry.

Eddie Hall, who has won Britain's Strongest Man four times, finished 3rd in this competition last year and he begins his assault on this year's title in this heat. But he will have strong competition, particularly from up-and-coming Mateusz Kieliszkowski from Poland who is just 23 years old, and one of the fastest athletes in the history of this event.

Lithuanian Zydrunas Savickas returns to World's Strongest Man after a year away battling injury. He's back leaner than ever, but his ambition remains very much heavyweight. Also battling for one of the two spots available in the final is Britain's Terry Hollands.

The ten most powerful men in the competition come together to battle it out for this year's title. The action starts with the Tyre Flip in which the athletes have to flip a half-tonne tyre six times, followed by a 320kg Squat Lift, then a Viking Press. After which the athletes have to gear up for a colossal 25-tonne plane pull! The Deadlift will be hotly contested, before mighty Atlas Stones decide the champion.

Action from the Sheffield Arena, where Eddie 'The Beast' Hall is focused on winning a record breaking 5th British crown, but faces tough competition from Scottish brothers Luke and Tom Stoltman, as well as veterans such 51-year-old Mark Felix. Facing the athletes are five titanic events including a Log Lift Medley, Car Deadlift, Super Yoke and Atlas Stones.

Norrköping in Sweden is the location for the competition to decide who will take the Scandinavian title. Among the hotly tipped are Martin 'the strongest cop in the world' Forsmark as well as 4-time WSM champion Žydrunas Savickas of Lithuania.

The battle takes place in front of an 11,000 strong crowd in Leeds, where Icelandic giant Hafthor 'Thor' Júlíus Björnsson has his eyes on taking his 4th European title. But he will need to see off the 'Georgian Bull' Konstantine Janashia, Polish star Matueusz Kieliszkowski, and Matjaz Belsak from Slovenia. Žydrunas Savickas is also in the hunt, and his presence can never be ignored.

In Martinsville, Indiana, defending champion Rob Kearney is aiming to add another title to his growing collection, while two Brits have made the trip over the Atlantic - Laurence Shahlaei and Mark Felix - to see if they can claim the prize. Trey Mitchell III is a raw and an exciting prospect, as is former WWE Wrestler Evan Singleton who. If his strength matches his bravado, he should do extremely well.

The last stop on the Giants Live Tour is the Manchester MEN Arena for the most epic of contests - The World Tour Finals. This is a one-day, big-money contest, featuring five events and ten serious competitors. The gaggle of gargantuan athletes include, the Russian ex-Navy Seal Mikhail Shivlyakov, Georgian Konstantine Janashia, and Mateius Kieliszkowski from Poland.

Heat one of the strongman competition, from which two athletes will proceed to the final. Heat One features 'Game of Thrones' star Hafthor Bjornsson, with British hopes resting with veteran Laurence Shahalei. Also in the group is Matjaz Belsak from Slovenia, and the mighty Iranian Peiman Maheripourehir who has won his national title twice.

Heat Two sees Brian Shaw begin his attempt at a record equalling 5th title. But there are five other athletes trying to book a place in Final, among them Britain's Adam Bishop, the Strength and Conditioning coach at Harlequins rugby.

Heat Three includes Lithuania's Zydrunas Savickas, or 'Big Z' who has graced the podium a massive ten times, with four victories to his name. Now 42 years old, he has to look after his body more than ever. But write Big Z off at your peril.

Heat Four sees Martins Licis make his 3rd appearance at the Finals. Briton Mark Felix is another perennial favourite looking for a path to the Final. Making his 13th appearance, the 52 year old plasterer from Blackburn seems to improve with age.

Heat Five is 'The Group of Death'. British hopes are on the broad shoulders of Terry Hollands. But he faces stiff competition from a field of immense athletes including Konstantine 'The Georgian Bull' Janashia, and Polish star Mateusz Kieliszkowski.

The Final features the ten most powerful men to have battled through the qualifying Heats. Tests include the 360kg Frame Carry, the 380kg Jeepney Deadlift, and a 28-ton Bus Pull. Finally, the mighty Atlas Stones will decide who is this year's champion.

The road to The World's Strongest Man finals starts right here at Sheffield's Utilita Arena. National titles don't come much harder to win than this: three quarters of the line-up have locked horns at World's Strongest Man, with a third having made the final. The nation's 12 strongest men will be Sheffield-bound, from all four corners of the British Isles, ready to fight to the finish for one of Strongman's most coveted titles. Five events will determine the outcome, the classic finisher of the Atlas Stones, Deadlift, Axle Press, Sandbag Throw and a brand-new event for 2024, the Blacksmith Medley designed to push the athletes to the very limit. Europe's Strongest Man returns to Leeds First Direct Arena in what promises to be yet another electrifying strength extravaganza! Twelve men will be representing 11 different nations, with each athlete aiming to be crowned the continent's strongest man and earn precious qualification to World's Strongest Man! Defending champion Pavlo Kordiyaka, who swept to victory last year, will be there alongside the man he dethroned, his compatriot, Oleksii Novikov. Presented by James Richardson and Radzi, with commentary provided by Danny Wallace and Colin Bryce. 

The Strongman Classic returns to the Royal Albert Hall with strength titans Tom Stoltman, Mitchell Hooper and Evan Singleton heading an all-star cast in the capital. The field of 12 athletes will battle it out across five gruelling events: Max Axle Press, Axle Deadlift for reps, Conan's Wheel, The Wrecking Ball Hold, and finishing with the great balls of concrete known as the Atlas Stones. Presented by James Richardson and Radzi, with commentary provided by Danny Wallace and Colin Bryce. 

Burkina Faso's legendary lifter Iron Biby makes his series bow as he looks to break his own Log Lift world, currently standing at a dazzling 230kg. In the World Open, World's Strongest Man Mitchell Hooper is in attendance looking to continue his dominance over the sport. And Luke 'The Future' Richardson, the youngest-ever Europe's Strongest Man winner, makes his return after almost three years away. From the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. Glasgow Scotland and the OVO Hydro Arena plays host to the The World Tour Finals final stop on the World's Strongest Man Qualifying Tour. National hero Luke Stoltman will be roared on by a partisan crowd as he aims to take the title in face of competition. The 30 Strongest Men on the planet return to Myrtle Beach as we begin our annual quest to find the World's Strongest. Our 30 men are split into five groups, the winner of each group progresses through to the final with a further qualifier determined by winning through the dreaded Stone-Off. In Heat One British hopes lie with Luke Stoltman as he bids to reach his fifth successive final. Six events are on show: The Webster Stones, then a Deadlift ladder which sees a total of 1700kg lifted from the floor in under 60 seconds. Event 3 is the Sandbag Steeplechase, with the Viking Press re-imagined and returns to WSM for the first time since 2017. The Car Walk is back and so too the epic showdown on the Stones to decide the final group placings. Heat 3 sees Adam Bishop fly the flag for Great Britain. Bish, a three-time WSM finalist is back to his best and looking for a return to the Grand Final for the first time since 2021. Giant New Zealander Matt Ragg is the group's top seed. Six events are on show. Heat 4 and the former WWE wrestler-turned-Strongman Evan Singleton enters the fray. He'll be facing a stacked line up including 'Handsome' Pavlo Kordiyaka from Ukraine; veteran deadlift specialist Rauno Heinla from Estonia; USA fitness model Marcus Crowder and the 'Ghanian Gladiator' Evans Nana. British hopes in this one fall to The Hurricane, Kane Francis. Six events are on show. The final heat in the series leaves just two spots to fill to complete the Grand Final line up. Two-time World's Strongest Man Tom Stoltman headlines this one, looking to regain the title he lost to Mitchell 'The Moose' Hooper in 2023. The man from Invergordon, Scotland has become one of the greatest champions in the history of the show. Six events are on show. It all comes down to this. The 2024 SBD World's Strongest Man is set to be crowned. Ten men, six events and 90 minutes of jaw-dropping strength exploits.
